Hi there,
Welcome to my blog. This week we’re talking all about why I got into the real estate industry.
Well, there are a few reasons why I choose a career in the real estate world but today, I will share my top 3 reasons.
Reason One: I Became a Homeowner
Let me just say, buying my first home was an eye opening experience. I loved it! From the home tours, to the negotiations, to the financial classes, to the final walkthrough and all the way to the closing table. It was so fascinating. It drew me in like a magnet. I was so pumped about buying my first home at the age of 21 that I wanted to share with anybody and everybody how I did it and how they could do it too.
Reason Two: In Search of a Career Change
If we’re being totally honest here, I was not happy at my previous place of employment. Yes, I was working in my desired career field, using my bachelors degree and making a decent income but I still felt like I could be doing so much more! With that said, I started searching for a job that would offer me a challenging work environment, flexibility and excitement. My initial goal was to work under an already established real estate team and continue life with the steady paycheck I was accustomed to. Nope, God had other plans. A few months after obtaining my real estate license I launched Move with Maeghan Realty and haven’t looked back since.
Reason Three: Desire to Make an Impact
I am a big advocate of empowering, enlightening and enhancing the lives of others. I wanted to be able do that in my career and feel different about how I earned my living. Real estate does that for me. No client or transaction is the same. I get the opportunity to assist people with one of the biggest decisions of their lives. Not to mention, one of the biggest purchases of their lives too. I am truly blessed to be able to do what I do and I love every minute of it!
Well guys, that concludes the summary of why I decided to make the leap into real estate. I hope this blog was informational and insightful. Do you have any interest in real estate?
